American Indian Weekend

American Indian Weekend will be held in 2015 at Bovay Scout Ranch, and is open to all Boy Scouts and Venturers. 

Activities

  • Classes in several beadwork styles, fingerweaving, fan construction, moccasin construction, and ribbon shirt construction
  • Ceremony workshops
  • Regalia workshops – men’s and ladies clothes
  • Dance classes
  • Singing classes
  • Indian Lore Merit Badge (limited to 25)
  • Saturday night: American Indian Pow Wow with past and present champion dancers, competitions and intertribal dances
